Evie is 2!!

The day before Evie's birthday we traveled to Madison, WI (on our way to MN for Jake's wedding) and spent the night in a hotel. We had a fun family night swimming and hanging out in our room.
Evie LOVED to splash with Daddy!
We had a family birthday party for Evie at Grandpa and Grandma Aase's house in Austin. It was a lot of fun to celebrate with extended family!
Kyle and I made this barnyard cake for Ev. We had a ton of fun with it!
It was a party complete with party hats and noise makers :)
Daddy bought Evie balloons for her birthday!

We are so thankful for our little girl! She is saying more and more words everyday and is making new connections all the time. We love her so much! There is never a boring moment when Ev is around :) We praise the Lord for the life he has granted Evelyn!

Sage Wisdom from a Dead Guy

"Suspect all love to creatures which is very strong and violent, and easily kindled, and hardly moderated or quieted. Though you might think it is for some spiritual end or excellency, that you love any person or any thing, yet suspect it if it be so easy and strong; because that which is truly and purely spiritual is against corrupted nature, and comes from grace which is but weak: we find no such easiness to love God, and Scripture, and prayer, and holiness; nor are our affections so violent to these. It is well if all the fuel and blowing we can use will keep them alive. It is two to one that the flesh and the devil have put in some of their fuel or gunpowder, if it be fierce."-Richard Baxter

Testing out wedding hair...

Judah - 4 Months

On Monday our little Judah turned four months old! He such a joy to us ! Almost every time we go out in public with him people comment on how happy/smiley he is. Kyle and I call him our little charmer; especially when he does his belly laugh :) Judah is rolling over very well now and I often find him sleeping on his tummy in the middle of the night. We love our little boy!
