We had our friends Bill and Paige Kamp over for dinner tonight...Evie and Liam had fun reading "Danny and the Dinosaur" together :)

I tried a couple of new recipes for dinner tonight and they were a success. A homemade salad dressing and Lemon Herb Pork Chops.

Kyle, Evie and Judah bought me the hanging flower pot in this picture for an early Mother's Day present. Evie picked it out; she liked the pink flowers :)

There are 23 bags of red mulch right there...Over the past 24 hours Kyle and I have had fun doing some landscaping of our front yard together. I wish we would have taken some before pictures; it resembled a jungle :)

Evie and I discovered a lilac bush in our yard today. One of our new favorite things to do lately is to walk around outside picking "flowers"...until now we just picked dandelions. Ahhh the lilacs are making our house smell so good; I think that May is one of my favorite months!
